The Marceline R-V Public Schools Educational Foundation was first formed on March 21, 1997. The Board of Directors, which consisted of nine individuals who represented the various banking businesses, the Board of Education, the Athletic Booster Club, the Band Boosters, and teachers from both the elementary and secondary schools, first met April 21, 1997, to establish a Mission Statement, which is as follows: To raise and distribute additional funds in order to assist the Marceline School District in providing the best possible educational experience for the district's students.
