The Marceline R-V School District would like to announce the hire of Mrs. Savannah Phillips as the Elementary Principal at Walt Disney Elementary for the 2024-25 school year.
This is Mrs. Phillips’ fifth year as an elementary teacher at Walt Disney Elementary and her 17th year in education total.
Mrs. Phillips has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master's in Educational Administration from William Woods University.
Mrs. Phillips is married to Rusty, and they have three kids in the school district: Dane (8th grade), Lottie (6th grade), and Jolie (Pre-K).
Regarding receiving the Elementary Principal position, Mrs. Phillips said, “I am looking forward to serving in the leadership capacity, and I am excited to work alongside the amazing staff and students at Walt Disney Elementary.”
