Mrogenski Educational Trust Scholarship
We are pleased to announce that Maddie Cupp and Alex McCauslin are being awarded the Mrogenski Educational Trust Scholarships in the amount of $1000 each. These awards are payable in two $500 payments at the start of each semester when proof of enrollment is presented to the committee. Congratulations to Maddie and Alex!
Lucian & Loena Porter Living Memorial Scholarship:
The Lucian & Loena Porter Living Memorial Scholarship was established in 2009 to honor a Marceline High School Senior. Both Mr. & Mrs. Porter were residents and members of the work force in Marceline for many years and were also members of the United Methodist Church. Lucian was a railroader and Loena was a Walsworth employee before her retirement. Mr. & Mrs. Porter, as well as their 4 children, were all graduates of Marceline High School. To give back to this community, they wish to give this scholarship to help a student further his or her education. We are honored to announce this year’s Lucian & Loena Porter Living Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $500 to Colby Sims. The alternate for this award is Hayden Krumpelman.

Marceline FBLA Leadership Conference Results
The Marceline R-V School District has made a difficult decision to limit Summer Journey 2020 enrollment to only those students who are residents of the Marceline R-V School District. Transportation and social distancing requirements have weighted heavily on this decision. Enrollment for Marceline students will remain open until May 18th. Summer Journey will begin on June 1st and extend through July 2nd. These dates are subject to change based on health guidelines. More information will be sent to Marceline R-V parents in the next few days. Registration link is available on the school website.
Senior Awards video will be posted to the school website and Facebook on Thursday night at 6pm. Senior Reflections video has been postponed until later on before graduation so seniors can possibly be together for the viewing.
We will be accepting applications for full time custodian until the end of day on Thursday, May 7th.

The message could also include accomplishments and/or their plans following graduation.
Graduation is a milestone everyone looks forward to. But for the class of 2020, this year will be one they never forget. Unfortunately, many will not be able to participate in the traditional ceremony, but that doesn't mean their accomplishments should go unnoticed. That's why we're inviting you to share photos of your graduate, whether they're graduating from high school, college, 8th grade, kindergarten, or preschool. With the Governor shut down extending to the end of the school year the original graduation date has been moved to a date to be determined toward the end of July.

HELP WANTED – FULL TIME CUSTODIAN
The Marceline R-V School District is seeking applicants for a full time custodian, 40 hrs/week with benefits. Please see Jared Main, Maintenance Director, or Central Office for an application.
Just to clarify - if you're student-athlete got a physical last year, it is good for TWO years and they do not need a new physical. Hope this helps!
