Thursday Tiger Scores V basketball @ Glasgow Tournament: Varsity girls defeated Cairo 45-44 and will play for the championship Saturday at 6:00 pm. Varsity boys defeated Cairo 61-57 and will play the consolation game Saturday at 1:30 MS Basketball @ South Shelby MS Boys defeated Brookfield 30-25 to advance to the consolation game Saturday at 10:15. MS girls lost to North Shelby 17-22

MS Wrestling Reschedule Dates Tuesday 12/9- 5:00 pm @ Carrollton Tuesday 12/16- 5:00 pm @ Chillicothe

School will be in session on Wednesday, December 3rd. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

HS basketball will travel to Glasgow tonight. Boys @ 6:00- girls @ 7:30. MS Wrestling at Carrollton has been postponed.

Due to inclement weather, school will be closed on Tuesday, December 2nd. This will be a regular snow day. The ELC will be opened for childcare only.

Varsity basketball games at Glasgow will be moved to tomorrow (12/2) at the same times. The bracket will shift one day. MS basketball games at South Shelby will be moved to Wednesday (12/3) at the same times. The bracket will be played Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The B games scheduled for Thursday are now cancelled. MS wrestling at Chillicothe has not been rescheduled yet.

All MHS and MMS activities scheduled for tonight (12/1) are cancelled. All practices are also cancelled.

Due to some of the secondary road conditions and the weather forecast for tomorrow during the school day, there will be no school on Monday, December 1st. This will be a regular snow day. The ELC will be open for childcare only.

MHS Boys Wrestling District Assignment- class 1, district 3

Marceline FBLA, FFA, and FCCLA are serving up something sweet this holiday season! That’s right, one student, teacher, and administrator will be pied in the face at the Christmas party on December 10, all to raise money for Christmas gifts for children in need right here in Linn County. Starting Monday at lunch, students can cast their votes with cash by dropping money into the jars of the teacher, student, and administrator they want to see get pied. Whoever collects the most… gets the pie!

Want to be the one who delivers the pie? Purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to do the honors! It’s messy, it’s merry, and it’s all for a great cause. Join the fun, support our community, and help make Christmas brighter for local kids. Money will be collected at lunch Monday through Friday. Voting closes Friday, and winners will be announced next Monday at lunch!
