We were unable to find a driver to cover the P.M. Route for Bus #5, so we will divide those students among other routes. This may cause students to be home a little later than normal today.

Special thanks go out to the Student Traction Team, the Linn County Sheriff’s Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Linn County EMS along with Life Flight Eagle. We also want to recognize the Marceline Police and Fire Departments, Freedom Towing, and the Linn County Coroner for their invaluable contributions.
Today’s event was more than just an educational exercise; it is our sincere hope that it serves as a preventative measure to keep our young drivers safe on the roads. Thank you to all our partners for investing in the safety of our students.

On Monday, April 20th, the Marceline Rotary Interact Club will be hosting their annual fundraiser! This year, they are running a Trivia Night in the High School Fieldhouse. All proceeds will help to fund local volunteer projects and scholarships for the following school year. Please see the following details:

On April 9th the Traction team in conjuction with the several other entities will be hosting a mock accident in the student parking lot. This will include EMS response teams coming to the parking lot along with an Air Evac helicopter. We want to let the community know ahead of time that this is an educational event for student awareness and to not be alarmed by the commotion that will take place. Thanks for the support and understanding.
Today's high school golf meet at Moberly has been cancelled- there is no make up date yet. Tonight's high school baseball games at Gallatin have been postponed until April 28th at 5:00 pm.

Saturday Tiger Scholar Bowl team traveled to Mexico for the annual BRIC Tournament, taking second place and going 7-1. Both Cash Barnes and Jack Kidd earned top 10 individual honors at the event.
