Dear Marceline R-V Families:
I want to take a moment to thank our faculty, staff, administration, parents/guardians, and the community as a whole for the dedication shown daily, which directly benefits the students of our school district. As Thanksgiving approaches, it gives me a timely opportunity to reflect on how grateful I am to have the privilege of serving this school district.
I was inspired to write this message by the video put out by Walt Disney Elementary in which many students were given the opportunity to say what they are thankful for. If you haven’t had the chance, I recommend clicking the video link at the bottom of this message; it is always incredible to see some of our youngest students have the most meaningful impact on our outlook.
Among many other things, I am thankful for our student attendance rates, and I’d like to thank our school district families for working so hard to get your students to school. This is not something we take for granted. I am also thankful for this community's support for our school district. I could go on forever, but overall, I am grateful for this school district and community, which is made up of people who care deeply about the betterment of the future.
I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving, and I look forward to finishing the semester strong!
Sincerely,
Dr. Zach Bruner, Superintendent
