Sectional Track Information Saturday, May 11-South Callaway High School Per MSHSAA we have to use digital tickets for the sectional track meet. NO CASH WILL BE TAKEN AT THE GATE ON SATURDAY. FFA Greenhouse Sales This Week!

Congratulations to our MHS Track Sectional Qualifiers- Mya Florine- javelin Zane McCauslin- pole vault Emery Dodd- 800m run Hudson Schmitt- 300m Hurdles Boys 4x400m Relay- Aiden Bussman, Jack DeWeese, Gunner Evans, and Hudson Schmitt They will compete at South Callaway this Saturday at sectionals. Also, congratulations to the track athletes who concluded their season at Districts yesterday. We are proud of all of you!

Congratulations to MHS Junior Lance O'Dell on qualifying for State Golf. He shot an 81 at districts on Thursday tying for 4th place. He will golf in Joplin on May 13th and 14th. Good luck, Lance! Also, congratulations to the rest of the golf team who concluded their season Thursday. We are proud of all of your accomplishments!

MHS Athletics Update *District Track @ Monroe City on Saturday will be a cash ONLY gate. $6/person *See Attached schedules for Baseball's Palmyra Cluster tomorrow and District tournament next week. All District games will be played at Harrisburg weather permitting.

Yesterday, Marceline High School senior Payton Weese signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic pursuits at Doane University. Payton was a vital member of our Lady Tigers wrestling team for 3 years- contributing to various team successes. Payton was a Grand River Conference Champion, a 3 time district runner up, 1 time sectional champion, and our first ever 3 time state medalist- earning 3rd place all 3 years. For the state of Missouri, Payton finished her career ranked 10th for season wins with 43 and currently holds the record for takedowns in a season with 70. We wish Payton the best of luck in her future and are proud of all her accomplishments. Congratulations, Payton.

Due to tomorrow's forecast, the high school boys district golf tournament will now be Friday (5/3) at Heritage Hills Golf Course in Moberly.

The last day to buy a 2023-24 MS/HS yearbook will be Friday, May 10 at 3 p.m. Yearbooks are $42.

Free Golf Lessons

This morning Marceline Senior District Music Gold Medalists Molly Allen and Matthew Rollison traveled to the University of Missouri-Columbia to attend and participate in 2024 MSHSAA State Music Festival. Molly Allen achieved the award of State Music Festival Silver Medal for her Vocal Solo! Matthew Rollison achieved the award of State Music Festival Gold Medal for his Keyboard Mallet Percussion Solo! Congratulations to Molly and Matthew on their outstanding performances and achievements!

Due to the wet conditions, tonight's home baseball games vs La Plata and high school golf quad at Moberly have been cancelled.

The Marceline MS Relays for today have been cancelled due to lightning.

MHS Athletics Time Changes- Golf at Kirksville for today (4/23) will now start at 10:00. Baseball at Fayette for tomorrow (4/24) will now start at 5:30.
