MS Wrestling Home on Friday has been cancelled due to Penney's District Championship game.
In celebration of American Enterprise Day, FBLA Presidents Avery Gordon and Ruth Schackelford organized activities to teach FBLA members about the importance of the free enterprise system in Marceline, featuring guest presentations, a downtown business scavenger hunt, designing a thriving multi-industry community, and a lunch session on dinner etiquette. We would like to thank our special guests and the Education Foundation who made today possible.

The MHS Student Council had the honor of hosting the Veterans Day Assembly today for our students and community. We would like to extend our gratitude to all those who have served!
A special thanks to our guest speaker- Staff Sargent Aaron Mccay, the Marceline VFW color guard, and all 18 veterans in attendance.
We also thank those that helped make the day a success- Mr. Christy with the band and choir, Dana DeWeese with his bagpipes, Marceline Rotary for the gift cards for all veterans in attendance, and OPAA for the cookies and coffee.

The following students competed at the Momberg Math and Science contest at CMU today:
Black team: Aiden Cagle, Ruth Shackelford, Finley Watson
Gold team: Song Graves, Will Krumpelman, Nora Vandeloecht
The Gold team (Song, Will, and Nora) placed 1st, and each member was awarded a $1000 renewable scholarship to CMU should they choose to attend college there.
The Marceline FFA Barn warming dance is this Saturday from 7-10 pm in the Ag shop.
